SEN Activity Afternoons at Millbrook Horizons

Millbrook Horizons is pleased to introduce SEN Activity Afternoons, a new programme starting September 2025. Designed specifically for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), these sessions offer structured, outdoor learning experiences in a supportive, inclusive environment.
What to Expect
- Animal Care – Learn how to feed, groom, and handle a variety of small animals.
- Equine Care – Meet and care for our horses while developing confidence around larger animals.
- Land-Based & Bushcraft Activities – Explore nature through seasonal horticulture and outdoor learning tasks.
These sessions promote the development of practical skills, social interaction, independence, and personal growth—while providing plenty of opportunities for fun and meaningful experiences.
Who Can Attend?
We welcome:
- Individual participants supported by parents, carers, or personal assistants
- Organisations such as schools, community groups, and care providers
Whether you’re supporting one young person or a small group, we offer a warm, flexible, and inclusive setting tailored to a wide range of needs.

- Cost: £60 per participant, per session
Each session is part of a termly programme that supports progression and encourages participants to build confidence and familiarity over time.
